Aluminium sliding doors, supply only
by QFORT for Vitrova
An aluminium sliding door made to measure for builders, installers and self-builders. Two to six panels on two or three tracks, with fixed panels or pocket sliding into the wall. Each sash can be up to 2,200 mm wide and 2,600 mm high.
Panoramic 35 is the QFORT Paysage 5Stars system. Each door is made to order by the manufacturer from the specification in your Vitrova quote.

Overall width goes up to 4,400 mm on two panels, 6,400 mm on three, 8,800 mm on four and 13,075 mm on six. Sashes weigh up to 240 kg, and the glass you choose can set a lower limit, so Vitrova checks it for every door.
One, two or four panels slide into the wall and leave the opening clear. Pocket doors go up to 8,800 mm wide. Above 1,600 mm high, the two-rail pocket frame takes about 40 mm (two panels) or 80 mm (four panels) off the opening, and your quote says so.
On the manufacturer's 1,230 × 2,480 mm test door: air permeability Class 4, watertightness Class 7A, wind resistance Class C5. The manufacturer's calculated Uw is 1.17 W/m²K with triple glazing and 1.42 W/m²K with double, both for a 3,400 × 1,792 mm door.
Arrangements
Two to six panels, fixed or sliding, and pocket versions. The opening check below lists every arrangement.
Two panels
Both slide, meeting in the middle.
One fixed, one sliding
A fixed panel and a sliding door, from 1,000 mm wide.
Three panels
Triple track, for wider openings.
Four panels
Opens from the centre.
Pocket sliding
Two panels slide into the wall on both sides.
Opening check
Enter the structural opening and choose an arrangement. You get the size the door is ordered at. Add it to your project, choose the colour and glass, add your other items, and send the project for a quote.
A guide from the datasheet figures. A check measure or your quote confirms the sizes before anything is ordered.
Inside the sill
The cill needs a continuous, level support. At 81.4 to 175 mm deep it carries the frame and still stops short of the drip.

Panoramic 35 is a thermally broken aluminium sliding door system. The interlock is 35 mm. Doors have two, three, four or six panels, fixed or pocket, and take double or triple glazing from 26 to 36 mm.
Each sash can be up to 2,200 mm wide, 2,600 mm high and 240 kg. Overall width runs from 1,000 mm up to 4,400 mm (two panels), 6,400 mm (three), 8,800 mm (four) and 13,075 mm (six). The glass package can limit the size further.
Yes. The pocket versions take one, two or four panels. Tall two-rail pocket doors lose about 40 mm (two panels) or 80 mm (four panels) of opening to the reinforced profile.
Cills of 105, 165, 195 and 245 mm fit two- and three-track frames, and 180 and 230 mm fit single-track frames with a fixed panel. Take a 195 mm cill on a two-track frame: it projects 113.8 mm beyond the frame and needs a continuous, level support 81.4 to 175 mm deep. The support stops 10 mm short of the drip so water clears it.
20 mm narrower and 10 mm lower than your structural opening. That is the overall size of the door ordered, including the seals and any add-ons.
It depends on the glass and the size of the door. The manufacturer's calculation for a 3,400 × 1,792 mm door gives Uw 1.17 W/m²K with triple glazing (Ug 0.7) and 1.42 W/m²K with 26 mm double glazing (Ug 1.0). Ask for the figure for your door before you order.
At the head and sill you see 110 mm: 62 mm of sash and 48 mm of frame. The width where two sashes meet depends on the door height, and your quotation confirms it.
Trickle vents of 2,500 or 4,000 mm² equivalent area fit in the frame add-on, in white, anthracite or black modules. In-glass Georgian bars of 9.5, 18 or 26 mm add 0.2 W/m²K to the Uw.
It is supply only: Vitrova supplies the door made to measure and does not fit it. Each project has a service package. A surveyor can check-measure every opening before the order is placed, or you can supply to your own sizes. Where installation is available it can be added to the quote; otherwise Vitrova provides an installation pack so your own installer can price and fit the work.
Use the opening check on this page: enter your opening, confirm the door and add it to a project. Add your other windows, doors and rooflights, then send the project for a quote. Vitrova replies with the next step within one working day. Every door is priced from its specification, so there is no price list. You can also send drawings or an existing quote through Price my job.
