Panoramic Fold 80 Aluminium Bifold Door

by QFORT for Vitrova

Panoramic Fold 80 is an aluminium bifold door on an 80 mm frame: 2 to 5 leaves opening in or out, leaves up to 1,200 mm wide and 3,000 mm high within a 120 kg leaf limit, PAS 24 security available, and a threshold that can sit flush with the floor.

Frame depth: 80 mm (89 mm with the weather stop)
Leaves: 2 to 5, opening in or out
Leaf width: 650–1,200 mm
Leaf height (door): up to 3,000 mm
Leaf weight: up to 120 kg; glass and leaf size together must stay inside this
Overall width: up to 6,230 mm (5 leaves)
Glass thickness: 24–48 mm
Security: PAS 24 available (glass 28–46 mm, leaves 750–1,200 mm wide and 1,860–3,000 mm high)
Weather performance: Air Class 4 (EN 12207); water Class E750 (EN 12208); wind Class C3 (EN 12210)
Head and bottom sightline: 89.5 mm (69.5 mm visible with the threshold set into the floor)

Size ranges
	Width	Height
Each leaf, door	650–1,200 mm	1,810–3,000 mm
Each leaf, PAS 24	750–1,200 mm	1,860–3,000 mm
Whole door, full frame	1,686–6,230 mm	1,891–3,081 mm
Bifold window, full frame	1,686–6,230 mm	781–1,890 mm

Every leaf is limited to 120 kg. Large leaves with triple glazing can reach that limit before the size limit, so tall, wide leaves are checked against the glass chosen.

Tested performance
Test	Result
Air permeability (EN 12207)	Class 4
Watertightness (EN 12208)	Class E750
Wind resistance (EN 12210)	Class C3
Security	PAS 24 available

Weather results are for the manufacturer's test door, 3,730 × 2,500 mm with three moving leaves.

Bottom frame and threshold options
Option	Height above floor	Notes
Full frame (raised bottom frame)	46.5 mm weather stop	Standard; the only option that takes a cill
Low threshold	28.5 mm	Optional ramp
Set into the floor, with drainage channel	flush; set 45 mm below the floor	75 mm drainage channel with grate
Set into the floor, no drainage	flush; set 20 mm below the floor	Only where the threshold is fully sheltered
Built-in cill	46.5 mm weather stop	Outward opening only

Calculated by the manufacturer for a 3,600 × 3,000 mm three-leaf door on the full frame. Your door's figure depends on its size and the glass confirmed in your quotation.

Cills (with the full frame, outward opening)
Cill	Depth	Projects beyond the frame	Support under the cill	Overall footprint
105 mm	105.2 mm	25.2 mm	80–95 mm deep	114.2 mm
165 mm	165.2 mm	85.2 mm	80–145 mm deep	174.2 mm
195 mm	195.2 mm	115.2 mm	80–175 mm deep	204.2 mm
245 mm	245.2 mm	165.2 mm	80–225 mm deep	254.2 mm

Support: the minimum carries the frame; the maximum stops 10 mm short of the drip so water still clears it.

Sightlines (face width you see), mm
